Beskrivelse

The Screaming Bird is a single-purpose treble booster for guitar. It concentrates its boost in the upper frequencies, working in a bandwidth of 1.6 kHz to 2.4 kHz, and can add as much as 20 dB of high-frequency gain to any amp. It can be used to drive an amp harder or to give a guitar more bite and presence in a band mix.

The pedal has true bypass switching, so the signal path is left untouched when the effect is off. It is built in a compact die-cast chassis measuring 70 x 115 x 54 mm (2.75 x 4.5 x 2.1 in).

Power comes from a 9-volt battery, which is supplied with the pedal. An optional 96DC-200BI power supply is available for mains operation. An owner's manual is offered as a download. Electro-Harmonix lists the model as discontinued in 2020.
