Ravish

The Ravish is a digital effects pedal that models a sitar. A lead voice follows the notes played on the guitar polyphonically, with selectable decay speed, while a separate set of simulated sympathetic strings sounds as a drone that reacts to playing dynamics. Keys and scales for the sympathetic strings can be chosen from major, minor and exotic options, and a custom tuning feature lets the player define their own scale.

Controls include dry, lead and sympathetic level knobs plus separate timbre controls for the lead and sympathetic voices. A mode/preset encoder scrolls through preset, key, decay, modulation, pitch bend and Q modes, and holding it saves a preset. The preset footswitch loads presets, engages custom tuning in key mode, or freezes the sympathetic strings in other modes.

The pedal has a mono input, a main output carrying the dry, lead and sympathetic signals, and a separate sympathetic output for external effects or a second amplifier. Two expression pedal jacks allow pitch bending of the lead voice and control of sympathetic string volume. Bypass is buffered, and a power adapter is included.
