The Ram's Head Big Muff Pi is a mono analog fuzz, distortion and sustainer pedal based on the V2 Violet Ram's Head Big Muff Pi. It aims to keep the articulate string separation and long sustain associated with that version, and it carries vintage-style graphics on a nano-sized chassis.
Three knobs control the sound: Volume sets the output level, Sustain adjusts the amount of sustain and distortion, and Tone moves from high treble to deep bass. A footswitch toggles between effect and bypass, and a status LED lights when the effect is active. Switching is true bypass.
The pedal has one input jack and one amp (output) jack. It runs from the included 9V battery, or from an optional 9.6VDC-200mA power adapter that is sold separately. Current draw is 2mA, and the enclosure measures 4.5 x 2.75 x 2.1 inches.
