POG3

The POG3 is a digital polyphonic octave generator that tracks chords across four octaves. It has six voices: dry, two octaves down, one octave down, a fifth up, one octave up and two octaves up. Each voice has its own slider and pan knob, and the Left, Right and Direct outputs can be switched on or off individually. A focus button switches the +1 and +2 voices between the original POG algorithm and a Pitch Fork style algorithm, which allows whammy-style bends and freeze effects.

The effects section has an attack slider with swells of up to 3 seconds, a multimode resonant filter with Q and envelope controls, and a detune slider with a spread knob that adds a short stereo delay. Each of these can also be applied to the dry signal. An input gain slider adds drive, and a master volume knob sets the overall level. Expression modes include freeze, glissando, volume, filter, crossfade and warp.

Up to 100 presets are stored on board and are edited from the OLED display with the NavCoder knob. The pedal has a mono input and a stereo output. It also has an Exp/CV input, 5-pin MIDI In and Out (Out works as Thru) and a USB-C port for the EHXport app on Windows and Mac. All controls can be saved to presets and controlled over MIDI or by expression pedal.
