The Pocket Metal Muff is the small-format member of the Electro-Harmonix Metal Muff line. It carries over the main features of the larger pedals into a compact die-cast enclosure that fits easily on a crowded pedalboard.
Tone shaping is handled by a switch that selects the EQ range, which sets the mid frequencies used for the midrange scoop. A second switch selects the amount of distortion, and a Master Volume control sets the output level. The pedal uses true bypass, so the signal path is left untouched when the effect is off.
Power comes from a 9-volt battery, which is included with the pedal. An optional 96DC-200BI power supply is also available. The housing measures 70 x 115 x 54 mm. The maker lists the model as discontinued in 2020.
