MOD 11

The MOD 11 is a mono digital modulation pedal built around an 11-position rotary switch. The positions are tremolo, harmonic tremolo, vibrato, a Univibe-style effect, chorus, rotary speaker simulation, flanger, through-zero flanger, phaser, modulated pitch shifter and modulated filter. A Mode button cycles through two or three variations of the selected effect, such as tri-chorus and bass chorus, additive and subtractive flanging, barber-pole flanging, 4, 6 or 8 stage phasing and low-pass, high-pass or band-pass filtering.

Controls are Depth, Rate and a combined Volume/Color knob. Color changes function with the effect: it sets feedback on the flanger, through-zero flanger and phaser, the centre pitch shift on the pitch effect and resonance on the filter. A secondary knob mode exposes further parameters. Several effects can follow the playing envelope, and a momentary mode lets the effect be engaged for short accents.

The pedal has a buffered bypass, a quarter-inch input and output and a tap-in jack for an external momentary footswitch to set modulation speed. Tap tempo can also be done from the built-in footswitch. A 9.6VDC 200mA power adapter is included.
