The Little Big Muff Pi is a reduced-size version of the Big Muff Pi. It uses the same analog circuit, shrunk to fit a tough die-cast chassis, so the sustaining, violin-like fuzz character is retained. The effect is a single-channel analog design with true bypass switching.
Three controls shape the sound. Sustain sets the amount of sustain and distortion, Tone sweeps from high treble to deep bass, and Volume sets the output level. A bypass footswitch toggles the effect on and off.
The pedal has a mono input jack and an amp output jack. It runs on a 9V battery, which is supplied, or on an optional 9.6VDC 200mA power adapter that is sold separately. Current draw is 4mA. The enclosure measures 4.75 x 4 x 2.25 inches.
