The Deluxe Electric Mistress is an analog flanger based on the original 1978 Deluxe version of the Electric Mistress. The circuit stays faithful to the vintage design, while the housing and handling have been updated for pedalboard use: a die-cast case, an external power adapter instead of the old built-in supply, a status LED and true bypass switching.
Three knobs shape the sound. Color sets the intensity of the effect, Range sets the lower limit of the sweep, and Rate controls the speed of the modulation. A Filter Matrix switch disconnects the modulation waveform from the flanger circuit, which freezes the sweep and produces a fixed set of filters for static, freeze-frame tones.
The pedal has a mono input, a Flanged Out jack for the processed signal, and a Dry Out jack that is wired directly to the input, so the unaffected signal is available separately. It runs from the supplied power adapter, with an optional 9V battery (not included). The maker lists this model as discontinued in 2023.
