Analogizer

The Analogizer is a mono, analog-circuit pedal designed to sit in front of or alongside digital effects and take the edge off their sound. It provides the character of an analog delay with long delay times, and it can also be used to thicken a guitar tone or push the front of an amp harder with a gain stage that spans 0 to 26dB.

Four knobs shape the sound: Volume sets the output level, Spread controls the delay time, Blend moves the mix from fully dry (counter-clockwise) to fully wet (fully clockwise), and Gain sets input gain. The footswitch punches the analog signal in and out, and a status LED shows when the effect is engaged. When the LED is off the pedal is in true bypass.

Connection is simple: the instrument or a preceding pedal goes into the Input jack, and the Amp jack feeds an amplifier or the next pedal in the chain. The pedal runs from an included 9V battery, with an optional 9.6VDC-200mA adapter sold separately. It was first released in 2011 and the maker lists it as discontinued in 2024.
