5MM

The 5MM is a mono, analog power amp housed in a pedal-format die-cast case. At 2.5 watts it reaches drive and saturation at modest volumes, which makes it practical for situations where a high-powered amp is not needed, such as when the cabinet is mic'd on stage, in the studio or as a spare rig.

Controls are kept minimal: one Volume knob and a Bright/Norm switch. In the Bright position the switch adds a subtle boost in the top end for more presence; in Norm the boost is off. Because it has no preamp section, it is intended to be paired with a preamp, overdrive pedal or EQ in front for tone shaping, though it can also be used on its own.

A standard 1/4 inch instrument cable connects the guitar or pedalboard to the input, which presents a 2 MΩ input impedance. The output jack goes straight to a speaker cabinet rated at 8 to 16 ohms. A 9.6V DC power adapter is supplied. The model was released in 2019 and has been discontinued.
