The 45000 combines looper functions with elements of a multi-track recorder. Each loop has four mono tracks plus one stereo mixdown track, with per-track faders and pan controls. Recording modes include overdub and punch in/out, and loops can be played in reverse or at half speed, one octave lower. Quantized and free-running (non-quantized) modes are available.
Audio is recorded uncompressed at 44.1 kHz / 16-bit to an SDHC card (4 to 32GB). A 4GB card is supplied, giving up to 125 minutes of recording time, and a card can hold up to 100 loops that are selected with the optional 45000 Foot Controller, sold separately. WAV files can be imported from a computer, and an auxiliary input lets an MP3 player be mixed with the loop output.
For connections the unit has left and right inputs and outputs, a headphone output, a monitor output, a footswitch jack, MIDI In and Out, and a USB port for backup and restore with a PC or Mac. It can run as MIDI clock master or slave, and most user parameters respond to MIDI control. A power adapter is included. The unit was released in 2013 and was discontinued in 2024.
