The #1 Echo is a mono digital delay pedal in a compact die-cast chassis. It provides up to two seconds of delay time, and the repeats decay in a warm, analog-like way rather than sounding clinical.
Three knobs cover the controls. Delay Time sets the length of the echo, Feedback sets how many repeats are heard and how quickly they die away (fully counter-clockwise gives a single echo), and Blend sets the balance between the dry signal and the echo. A footswitch engages or bypasses the effect, and an LED lights when it is on.
The pedal has one quarter-inch input and one quarter-inch output, and uses true bypass. It runs from the supplied 9.6VDC 200mA power adapter, and an optional 9V battery can be used (not included). It was released in 2007 and has been discontinued since 2024.
