UniFi Reference UBR62

The UBR62 is a bass-reflex bookshelf speaker with a true 3-way layout. A 1" soft-dome tweeter sits in the same cast-chassis assembly as a 4" aluminum midrange driver, and a 6-1/2" woofer with a single-piece dished aluminum cone handles the low end. The crossover points are 260 Hz and 1800 Hz, and the nominal impedance is 6 Ω.

The woofer has a cast basket, a larger magnet and a larger vent hole. The midrange driver has a larger voice coil, a neodymium magnet and a low-profile surround. The cabinet is CARB2-rated MDF with full-perimeter bracing, a curved front baffle and a dual flared slot port. The slot port is designed to give more bass output with less port noise.

The speaker connects through 5-way bi-wire binding posts. It comes in two finishes: satin black with walnut sides, or satin white with oak sides. The UniFi Reference range also includes the UFR52 floorstanding model and the UCR52 center channel, so the UBR62 can be matched with them in a multichannel setup.
