The IS-AMP1650-BK is a 16-input, 16-channel multi-zone amplifier in the Integrator Series. It uses a discrete Class D topology and delivers 50 W per channel into 4 or 8 ohms, or 100 W bridged. Its DSP and CPLD provide full matrix routing, so any input can be sent to any output.
Eight of the outputs are assignable. A room can be powered from in-ceiling speakers on the built-in amplifier channels, with one output assigned to a powered subwoofer in the same room. High-pass filters can be applied to in-ceiling or in-wall speakers. Each output has a full parametric equalizer, and presets for ELAC speakers are available to shorten setup.
Setup and tuning are done in a web GUI. Its status screen shows the state of each channel with input and output levels, and settings can be saved and reused across projects. For monitoring, each zone has 16-bit microprocessors that watch voltage, current and temperature, and the unit tracks 10 thermal points. Third-party control is supported through IP commands for Control4 and Crestron.
