The X230 is a 2.1 computer speaker system with two satellite speakers and a wooden-cabinet subwoofer, rated at 28 W peak and 14 W + 7 W + 7 W RMS. It targets desktop and gaming users who want RGB lighting and Bluetooth, Line in or AUX inputs.

The X230 pairs two satellite speakers with a subwoofer built from thick MDF. A 131 mm bass driver sits behind a front unit and a rear inverted port. A Texas Instruments TAS5711 Class D amplifier drives the system, and a DSP handles electronic frequency division and dynamic management to balance lows, mids and highs.
RGB LED lighting offers 6 effects, including Red Alert, Dynamic Rhythm and Battlefield. Pressing the volume + and - keys together cycles through the effects or turns them off. Power on/off and volume up/down keys sit on top of the subwoofer, next to a ring indicator light.
The speakers connect wirelessly over Bluetooth 4.2 to computers, phones and tablets. Wired sources go in through the Line in or AUX inputs.
