The W830BT is a wireless over-ear headphone built around 40mm neodymium drivers. It covers a frequency range of 20Hz to 20KHz and is tuned for strong bass, which suits genres such as jazz and hip hop. A rechargeable battery gives up to 95 hours of playback.
For comfort, the ear cups use extra-soft leather-type padding and the headband is padded, with an adjustable stainless steel band. The ear cups rotate by 90 degrees so the headphones fold away for travel. The bracket and hinges are metal, and the unit weighs 274g.
Wireless connection uses Bluetooth 4.1 with the HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles, and aptX decoding for streaming audio. NFC pairing allows quick connection to a device. A 3.5 mm audio cable is included for wired listening. A red indicator light signals low battery, and the effective working distance for calls is about 10m.
