The TO-U7 Pro is a pair of true wireless earbuds with an 8 mm dynamic driver. Active noise cancellation reaches a depth of 40 dB, and an ambient sound mode lets the wearer hear their surroundings without removing the earbuds. Six microphones and AI DNN processing reduce background noise during calls.
Battery life is up to 4.5 hours of playback from the earbuds with ANC off, plus 13.5 hours from the charging case. Fast charging gives about 1 hour of playback from a 10-minute charge. A game mode brings latency down to about 80 ms. The earbuds are rated IP54 for dust and splashes, though the charging case is not covered by that rating. The design takes its cue from the round headlights of retro supercars.
The earbuds connect over Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC audio and the A2DP, AVRCP and HFP profiles. The Edifier Connect app handles personalised settings, control customisation and ambient level adjustment. The case charges over USB-C. Four pairs of ear tips in sizes XS to L are supplied.
