S50DB
The S50DB is a wooden-cabinet soundbar from Edifier with a subwoofer output, aimed at people who want better TV sound from a TV, set-top box or Blu-ray player. It carries Hi-Res Audio qualification and offers three EQ modes for music, movies and news.

The S50DB is a two-channel soundbar built in a wooden enclosure. Each side has a 2¾" mid-range/bass driver and a ¾" tweeter with a titanium film dome. Rated output is 12W + 12W RMS for the treble and 32W + 32W RMS for the mid-range and bass. Frequency response runs from 55Hz to 20kHz. A Texas Instruments chip handles the signal processing, which is said to reduce treble distortion and the noise floor.
Three EQ modes are provided, tuned for music, movies and news. The unit is qualified for Hi-Res Audio playback. A subwoofer output allows an external subwoofer to be added to extend the low end.
For connections it has optical and coaxial digital inputs, plus AUX, Line in and Bluetooth, so it can be used with TVs, set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and other sources. The Bluetooth range is up to 10 metres. The body measures 1120mm x 120mm x 100mm.
