S300

The S300 is a two-way active tabletop speaker in an MDF cabinet with a braided grille and metal controls. A pair of 1.25" titanium dome tweeters with neodymium magnets handles the highs, and a 5.5" long-throw aluminum diaphragm driver covers the mid-bass. A bass reflex port with a variable-curvature, large-diameter design supports low frequencies. Total output is 80W RMS (15W × 2 treble, 50W mid-bass).

Signal handling is fully digital, with a two-way active crossover, DRC, and 24-bit/96kHz processing from input to output. The analog front end converts AUX signals at the same resolution. The speaker is certified for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless.

Wireless options are Apple AirPlay 2 over dual-band 5GHz/2.4GHz Wi-Fi, with multi-room grouping of several S300 units, and Bluetooth 5.4 with SBC and LDAC. Two Bluetooth devices can be connected at once, and multipoint can be switched on or off in the app. Wired inputs are USB-C and AUX. Control is through onboard buttons and knobs, a remote control, or the EDIFIER Home app, which also handles Wi-Fi setup, source selection, sound effects and the digital manual.
