S3000MKII
The S3000MKII is a 2.0 active bookshelf speaker system with planar magnetic tweeters and 6.5-inch aluminum-cone mid-low drivers. The two speakers link wirelessly, and the system takes XLR, optical, coaxial, USB, line-in and Bluetooth sources, for desktop or hi-fi listening.

The S3000MKII is a pair of active speakers that serves as the successor to the S3000 Pro. Each cabinet pairs a horn-loaded planar magnetic tweeter (107 mm x 107 mm) with a 6.5-inch long-throw aluminum diaphragm mid-low driver on an aluminum basket. Texas Instruments PurePath Ultra-HD Class-D amplifiers, rated at 175 W per channel, give 256 W RMS in total. Frequency response is stated as 38 Hz to 40 kHz.
Digital processing uses Texas Instruments converters and an XMOS XU216 chip. The USB, optical and coaxial inputs accept signals up to 24-bit/192 kHz, and the system carries Hi-Res Audio certification. Several preset sound effects are included.
The two speakers talk to each other over a proprietary 5.8 GHz wireless link, so only the primary speaker needs source connections. Inputs are balanced XLR, optical, coaxial, USB Type-B, line in and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD. Control is by knobs on the right speaker, an IR remote or the EDIFIER ConneX mobile app, which handles playback, sound effect selection and customization, and holds the user manual.
