The R1800TIII is a two-speaker powered system built around a 4-inch (116 mm) bass unit and a 19 mm tweeter in each cabinet. A Class D amplifier drives the pair, with a total RMS output of 16W x 2 plus 19W x 2. Each speaker has a front-facing bass reflex port to add weight to low notes.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Dynamic Range Compensation (DRC) are used to hold distortion down at high volume. The satellites cover 3.4kHz to 20kHz and the low-frequency section covers 30Hz to 3kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 85dB (A) or better.
Inputs are rated for PC (700mV ± 50mV) and Aux (550mV ± 50mV) sources. A wireless remote control handles volume adjustment and mute. Each cabinet measures 154mm x 254mm x 224mm, and the set weighs 6.6kg net. A user manual is available from the maker's support section.
