The R1380T is a powered two-way bookshelf speaker pair. Each cabinet houses a 1-inch (25 mm) tweeter and a 4-inch (116 mm) mid-bass driver, driven by a built-in Class-D amplifier that gives 21W per side, 42W RMS in total. Frequency response is stated as 55 Hz to 20 kHz.
Signal handling uses a TI PCM9211 digital decoding chip. Two analogue line inputs, Line In 1 and Line In 2, are provided over dual RCA, with different input sensitivities for each. Wooden side panels form part of the cabinet styling.
Bass, treble and volume are adjusted with controls on the right side panel, and an IR remote control is included. Each speaker measures 200 x 152 x 241 mm and the set weighs 5.54 kg net.
