The QR65 is a two-way active desktop speaker system. Each cabinet uses a 1.25-inch silk dome tweeter and a 2.75-inch long-throw aluminium alloy mid-low driver in an MDF enclosure with separate acoustic cavities. Dual TI Class-D amplifiers handle the two-way active crossover and dynamic range control, and the audio path supports resolution up to 24bit/96kHz. The system is Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified.
Inputs are Bluetooth 5.3 (with LDAC), USB-A and RCA, and a SUB OUT port on the rear panel feeds an external subwoofer. The speakers also work as a charging hub, with two USB Type-C ports and one USB Type-A port based on TurboGaN technology, up to 65W on a single port. The baffle has lighting with 11 presets and over 16 million custom colours, and bundled aluminium stands tilt the speakers by 10 degrees towards ear level.
The EDIFIER ConneX mobile app provides playback control, sound effect and light effect adjustment, and the user manual.
