The MP260 combines a 2.1 driver layout with two 1.75-inch satellite drivers and a 2.75-inch subwoofer in a wooden enclosure with a side-panel bass reflex port. Output is 4W + 4W from the tweeters and 12W from the mid-bass driver, driven by a TI TAS5711 digital power amplifier, with a frequency response of 53Hz - 18kHz.
An LED screen shows the clock, alarm and audio mode. A light sensor adjusts its brightness to the room, and a button turns the screen off. The built-in music alarm can be used to wake up to music. Controls are silicone buttons on the top panel.
It connects over Bluetooth 5.0 with a stated range of up to 30 meters, or through AUX, a USB flash drive, a micro SD (TF) card, or a USB audio streaming port. A single USB cable to a computer carries audio and charges the speaker. Two 2500mAh lithium-ion batteries give about 7 hours of playback in lab testing, with overvoltage protection.
