The M601DB is a 2.1 speaker system made up of two satellite speakers and a subwoofer, all in wooden cabinets intended to limit resonance and distortion. Each satellite has a 0.5" silk dome tweeter and a 3.5" paper cone mid-bass driver. The subwoofer uses an 8" paper cone driver with a long-stroke design and a calibrated flared bass reflex port, and reaches down to 50Hz.
A Class-D amplifier works with a DSP chipset that splits the signal into highs, mids and lows and sends each band to its own driver. Total output is 110W RMS (20W + 20W for the satellites, 70W for the subwoofer).
Sources can be connected over Bluetooth V5.1 with Qualcomm aptX support, or through RCA line in, optical, coaxial or AUX inputs. The optical and coaxial inputs accept 44.1kHz and 48kHz signals. Controls are on top of the unit and on a remote.
