The M206BT is a two-piece multimedia speaker system with 34W of total RMS output. Each cabinet is built from 9mm MDF board, which is intended to limit unwanted resonance. A 131mm bass unit with a front-facing phase inversion tube handles low frequencies, and DSP processing manages the electronic crossover and dynamics to keep the mid and high range balanced.
Audio can come in over Bluetooth 5.0 (SBC codec), through the built-in 3.5mm aux jack, or from a USB flash drive. The aux input works with PCs, laptops, TVs, phones, MP3 players and similar sources. Bluetooth has an effective range of about 10 metres.
Controls are placed on an integrated side panel. Pressing and holding the Volume/Input button disconnects a paired Bluetooth device. Troubleshooting notes mention that the speakers must be set to the Bluetooth input before they will pair, and that a remote control can also be used for volume.
