ES300

The ES300 is a compact 2.1 desktop speaker built around a hand-made wooden cabinet with a leather-look finish, braided grille and metal control panel. Two 1.25-inch silk dome tweeters with neodymium magnets handle the highs, and a 4-inch long-throw mid-bass driver covers the rest. Symmetric dual bass reflex tubes are used to extend the low end while reducing port noise. Dual Class-D amplifiers drive the tweeters and the mid-bass driver separately through a digital two-way active crossover with dynamic range control.

Wireless playback works over Bluetooth 5.4, with SBC and LDAC support, and over dual-band Wi-Fi with Apple AirPlay 2. Two Bluetooth devices can be connected at once. Several ES300 units can be grouped for multi-room use, and the app lets you assign channels to each unit. Audio is processed digitally up to 24-bit/96kHz.

A USB-A input and an AUX input cover computers, turntables and other sources. The built-in battery gives up to 12 hours of playback under the maker's test conditions (SBC, 50% volume, lights off). An ambient light system offers 3 preset effects and 2 colours. The EDIFIER Home app handles Wi-Fi setup, source and light switching, stereo channel setup, sound effects and access to the manual.
