The A300 is a pair of powered bookshelf speakers. Each cabinet pairs a horn-loaded ribbon tweeter, based on the tweeter used in the maker's 7001 near-field monitor, with a woofer. The ribbon diaphragm is thin aluminium. Amplification is built in, with 10W per side for the treble and 70W per side for the woofer.
Input options cover AUX, balanced, USB, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth 5.0, so the pair can be fed from a computer, TV, streamer, CD transport or phone. Each digital and analogue input has its own stated sensitivity. A wireless remote controls the speaker functions from a distance.
The package includes RCA audio cables, speaker connecting cables, USB cables, fibre optic audio cables and power cables, so a source can be connected straight away. Frequency response is stated as 40Hz to 40kHz and signal-to-noise ratio as 90dB (A) or better.
