The WiLD-SB18 is a self-powered subwoofer with an 8" woofer in a bass-reflex MDF cabinet and a built-in amplifier rated at 100 W RMS / 150 W peak. It works as a receiver in the WiLD wireless system and is paired to a WiLD-TX transmitter, which can be up to 150 m away with direct line of sight. Audio is carried uncompressed at 16 bit / 48 kHz in the 1880–1930 MHz DECT band, with latency under 26 ms.
The rear panel holds a pairing button, a status LED, source selection, a low-pass filter selector (40 Hz to 250 Hz, or full range), auto-standby timing (20 min, 1 h, 4 h or always on) and the master volume. The internal universal power supply accepts 100–240 V AC, and standby consumption is below 2 W.
Besides the wireless input, there is a stereo unbalanced line input on a 3-pin Euroblock connector. The cabinet can stand on the floor or be hung on a wall using the supplied metal brackets, and it is finished in black (RAL 9005).
