Encoder (transmitter) for sending HDMI video over a 1Gb Ethernet network using H.265/H.264 compression, up to 1920x1200@60Hz over a single Cat5e/6/7 cable of up to 100 m. Meant for installers building scalable point-to-point or multipoint AV systems in schools, shops and offices.

The VEO-XTI1CG2 is the transmitter half of a pair with the VEO-XRI1CG2 receiver. It takes an HDMI source and sends it over a 1Gb Ethernet network using H.265 or H.264 compression, with latency under 100 ms. Unicast works on unmanaged 1Gb networks, while multicast needs a managed network with IGMP snooping. Video wall layouts of up to 9x9 displays are supported, along with scaling, mainstream and sub stream encoding, and a configurable average bitrate of 1-20 Mbps.
Audio can be embedded into or extracted from the stream through unbalanced 3-pin Euroblock connectors (LPCM 2.0 channel, up to 24-bit, 32/44.1/48 kHz). RS-232 pass-through is available on a Euroblock connector. EDID can be managed from the front panel or the web interface, and the front panel has UP and DOWN buttons, status LEDs and an LCD display.
The unit connects through an RJ45 port and can be powered by PoE (802.3af Class 3) or by the supplied 12 V DC adapter. Adding the optional VEO-XCTRLG2 controller module enables the built-in web configuration interface and TCP control. The metal half-rack-width case suits desktop use or rack mounting with the optional VEO-RK1CG2 kit.
