Ecler NIC-8
The NIC-8 is a 2-way in-ceiling and in-wall loudspeaker with an 8-inch woofer and 1-inch dome tweeter, rated at 70 W RMS. It suits installers fitting retail, hospitality, education or corporate spaces on 70/100 V lines or at 8 ohms.

The NIC-8 is a two-way ceiling loudspeaker that pairs an 8" woofer with a 1" steerable dome tweeter. It handles 70 W RMS (140 W program, 280 W peak) and can be run either from a 70 V / 100 V constant-voltage amplifier through its built-in transformer or directly at 8 Ω nominal impedance.
It uses ART (Acoustic Resonator Technology) in the back-can, which is intended to reduce low-frequency distortion and vibration passed into the ceiling structure. The enclosure is rated IP66, with an ABS body and a magnetic, frameless iron grille that lifts off easily; the Ecler logo on the grille can also be removed. The speaker is supplied in white (RAL 9003), with a black grille (NICRG8BK) available as an option.
Wiring is made through a 4-pin Euroblock connector on the front of the baffle, and the 8 Ω / high-impedance power selection is reached from the front as well, so taps can be changed after the unit is mounted. Three rotating tabs secure it in the ceiling, and an optional tile bridge (NIC-TB8) supports suspended-ceiling installs. EASE data files are available.
