The White Light Legacy Reissue is an overdrive built around hard clipping and a vintage voice. It draws on the character of classic dirt pedals such as the OD250 and Distortion+, without copying them, and is described as more dynamic, open and harmonically rich than those references. The run is limited to 2,000 units worldwide, and the model is no longer in production.
The controls are Gain for the amount of distortion, Level for output, and Weight, a multi-function knob that changes saturation, low-end response and the overall feel. A Compression switch has two settings: minus gives a more open sound with extra high-mids and bite, and plus gives a crunchier, more compressed tone with less bite and a flatter mid response.
This reissue has a new enclosure, top-mounted jacks and Flexi-Switch technology. The relay-based true-bypass switch supports both latching and momentary use, and it needs power to pass signal. The pedal runs from a 9 V DC supply with a 2.1 mm negative-center barrel.
