Stereo Easy Listening is an analog amp simulator that sits at the end of a signal chain. It has no latency and no digital processing artifacts. Its base voice is a mid-scooped American-style amp sound, and it can be used alone or to add analog character to a digital modeling rig. It has been demonstrated with guitar, bass and synth.
Tone is shaped by an active three-band EQ with Bass (up to 500 Hz), Middle (500 Hz to 2 kHz) and Treble (2 kHz and up) controls, each able to cut and boost, plus a master Level knob. A dedicated Aux knob sets the level of an auxiliary input that bypasses the preamp and cabinet simulation, which suits playing along with a phone, drum machine or backing tracks.
Connections are two quarter-inch inputs for true stereo, or the Left input alone for mono, which is converted to stereo automatically. Outputs are left and right XLR plus a stereo quarter-inch TRS headphone out, so it can feed a PA, a DAW and headphones at once. Power is a 9 V DC supply.
