The Disaster Transport Legacy Reissue is an analog-voiced digital delay built around a redesigned delay line with a lower noise floor and a filtered, cleaner mixing section. The delay time runs from about 30 ms to roughly 600 ms with modulation off, and the Repeats control goes up to self-oscillation. Production is limited to 3,500 units worldwide.
Modulation uses a ramp wave, which behaves like a triangle wave that drops off mid-cycle and produces strong pitch bends. Five knobs (Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, Time) are joined by two toggles: Mod Speed selects slow, medium or fast ranges, and Mod Mode switches between a chorus-like Bend setting and a wilder Stretch setting. Separate Modulate and Activate footswitches turn the modulation and the effect on and off.
Both footswitches use a relay-based true bypass that supports latching and momentary operation, and the relays need power to pass signal. The pedal runs from a 9 V DC supply with a 2.1 mm negative-center barrel.
