All-analog bass overdrive with three clipping modes, derived from the Plumes screamer circuit with double the gain and extended low-end response. Aimed at bass players, and it also suits low-tuned guitar.

Blumes is an analog bass overdrive built on the screamer-style circuit used in the maker's Plumes pedal. The circuit is modified to give twice the gain and a deeper bass response, so low frequencies are kept intact. Internal bipolar power supplies additional headroom and dynamics.
Gain sets the amount of drive, Tone sweeps from more bass to more treble, and Level sets output volume. A 3-way toggle selects the clipping mode: symmetrical LED clipping for the crunchiest, most open sound; no clipping, which is straight op-amp drive usable as a clean boost at lower Gain settings; and asymmetrical silicon diode clipping, which is warmer, more compressed and lower in output.
Switching is relay-based true bypass using Flexi-Switch, which supports both latching and momentary operation. The pedal runs from a standard 9 V DC supply with a 2.1 mm negative-center barrel connector, and the relay needs power to pass signal.
