Astral Destiny

The Astral Destiny is a stereo-less, buffered-bypass reverb pedal built around eight reverb modes: Abyss (large reverb with no octave), Shimmer (upper octave), Sub (lower octave), Sub Shimmer (both octaves), Astral (both octaves with a regenerating tail), Ascend and Descend (upward and downward pitch bending) and Cosmos (a regenerating fifth). A rotary switch selects the mode, and a second rotary switch recalls one of eight presets.

Controls cover reverb Length, chorus Depth and Rate, a Tone control that boosts or cuts treble around a flat centre, and reverb Mix. Two footswitches handle activation and Stretch, which doubles the reverb length while adding a temporary pitch change; a tap gives an immediate shift and holding gives a pitch-bending effect. The pedal can run in Live mode, where the panel settings apply, or Preset mode, where stored settings are used. The eight factory presets can be edited or overwritten.

An expression jack accepts any TRS expression pedal or a 0 to 3.3 V control voltage and can be assigned to Length, Depth, Rate, Tone or Mix. Bypass can be set to Tails, letting the reverb decay naturally, or Full Bypass, which cuts it immediately. The pedal runs from a 9 V DC supply.
