The Arpanoid is a polyphonic pitch arpeggiator in a compact pedal format. It listens to what is played, single notes or full chords in any key, and plays back an adjustable scale-based sequence. The dry signal path is analog, while the effect (wet) signal is digital.
Sequence behaviour is shaped by Rate, Step and a three-position direction toggle (up, up/down, down). An eight-position Mode switch picks major or minor and one of four patterns: minus one octave to root, root to plus one octave, minus one octave through plus one octave, or a random pattern. Separate Wet and Dry level knobs set the balance, with unity gain at around noon.
Switching is relay-based true bypass using Flexi-Switch, which allows both latching and momentary use, and the relay needs power to pass signal. The pedal runs from a 9 V DC supply with a 2.1 mm negative-centre barrel connector. It is built by hand in Akron, Ohio, and the maker lists it as discontinued.
