The Uboom X is a portable Bluetooth speaker with a four-driver design: two 4-inch woofers and two 20 mm tweeters, rated at 80W total output. Its sound can be shaped in the EarFun Audio app, which offers a graphic EQ, EarFun presets and seven signature tunings (Studio, Indoor, Indoor+, Outdoor, Outdoor+, BOOM xxX and Ground 0). The app also controls the multi-colour LED lighting.
The enclosure is rated IP67 against dust and water, and it floats. A carry handle and a strap are included for transport. A 7.2V 8400mAh battery gives up to 30 hours of playback, depending on volume and content. The USB-C port accepts 30W-class fast charging, and a second USB-C port works as a power bank output for phones and other devices.
Wireless connection uses Bluetooth 5.3 with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP profiles and a working range of 15 m without obstacles. Party Connect mode links up to 50 compatible speakers for synchronised sound and lighting. A built-in microphone handles hands-free calls and voice assistant requests, and an AUX input accepts wired sources.
