The EarFun Air are in-ear true wireless earbuds using composite cellulose drivers and a four-microphone array that filters background noise on calls. Touch pads on both earbuds handle music, calls, volume and the voice assistant (triple tap for Google Assistant or Siri). Either earbud can be used alone, with support for MCSync switching between the two. The shape was developed from 3D ear models to sit securely.
The earbuds are rated IPX7 and use a sealing treatment against sweat; the charging case is not waterproof. Each earbud runs up to 7 hours, and the case adds roughly four further charges for about 35 hours in total. Ten minutes of charging gives about 2 hours of playback.
They connect over Bluetooth 5.0 (A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP) with SBC audio, at a range of up to 49 ft. The case charges via USB-C or a Qi wireless pad, though it is not compatible with MagSafe. A companion EarFun Audio app is available for personalisation.
