The Air 2 NC is a pair of true wireless earbuds with adaptive hybrid active noise cancelling rated at up to 45 dB. Sound comes from 11mm wool composite dynamic drivers, and the earbuds are Hi-Res Audio certified. They decode LDAC as well as SBC, and a 3D surround sound mode adds a spatial effect. Six microphones with an AI noise-reduction algorithm handle calls.
The earbuds connect over Bluetooth 5.3 with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP profiles and a working range of up to 15 m without obstacles. They support multi-device connectivity with auto-pairing and Google Fast Pair, and a Games Mode with latency below 55 ms is included. The EarFun Audio app for iOS and Android provides EQ and other personalisation settings.
Playtime is up to 9 hours per charge with ANC off, or 40 hours in total with the charging case. With ANC on it is up to 6 hours, or 27 hours in total. The case charges by USB-C or a wireless charger, and a 10-minute charge gives about 2 hours of playback. The earbuds are rated IPX5 for sweat and water resistance.
