Description

Typhon is a monophonic synthesizer built around an analog signal path. It uses two of Dreadbox's classic oscillators feeding a 4-pole low-pass filter, with several analog VCAs handling amplitude control.

On the control side there is a 32-step note sequencer and three modulators, each with four modes and multiple assignable targets. A set of 12 DSP effects, developed by Sinevibes and running at 32-bit / 296 kHz, adds processing after the analog section. Up to 256 presets can be stored.

The synth is powered over USB, which keeps it portable and easy to use away from a desk or studio.
