Euphoria

Euphoria is an analog 8-stage phase shifter in a 10HP modular format, built around OTA chips. It suits modular users who want a vintage-style phaser that also handles lower-level signals such as fretted instruments.

  • Fully analog 8-stage phase shifter
  • OTA-chip circuit with a vintage voicing
  • Can create phase AM sounds
  • Accepts lower-level inputs such as fretted instruments
  • Triangle VC LFO from about 1 min cycles to audio range
  • 10HP wide, 35mm deep

Lýsing

Euphoria is a fully analog phase shifter with eight stages. Its circuit is based on OTA chips and is described as having a warm, vintage character. Besides classic phasing, it can produce phase AM sounds.

The module has an internal voltage-controlled LFO with a triangle waveform. The LFO covers a wide frequency range, from very slow cycles of about a minute up into the audio range. The input stage copes with lower-level signals, so fretted instruments such as guitars can be run through it as well as modular-level sources.

It occupies 10HP and is 35mm deep, which suits shallow cases. Power is drawn from the standard modular supply rails at +12V and -12V, at 58mA and 52mA respectively.
