RS 3 Mini

The RS 3 Mini is a handheld gimbal that weighs 795 g in portrait mode and 850 g with the horizontal arm. It carries up to 2 kg, enough for a full-frame mirrorless body with a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, and uses the same third-generation stabilization algorithm as the RS 3 Pro. High-torque motors are meant to hold balance while zooming on most lenses.

The gimbal has a dual-layered quick-release plate that follows the ARCA standard, native vertical shooting by moving the plate to the vertical arm, and a NATO port for handles, fill lights or monitors. A 1.4-inch colour touchscreen, a mode button (PF, PTF, FPV) and a front dial for focus, ISO, aperture or shutter (with a camera control cable) handle most settings without the app. The Ronin app adds Timelapse, Track (up to 10 preset points) and Panorama.

A camera connects over Bluetooth, which lets the record button start and stop recording and take photos on supported cameras, and it reconnects automatically after the first pairing. The integrated battery runs up to 10 hours and recharges in as little as 2.5 hours.
