The Expert 210 Pro pairs two Expert 140 Pro chassis in a dual-mono arrangement, with one unit per channel. This halves the distortion rate and gives each channel a larger power reserve than a single stereo unit. It delivers 2x210 W RMS into 6 Ω, and combines preamp, power amplifier, DAC, network streamer and phono stage.
Each casing is carved from a single aluminium block with dark chrome side plating. Devialet's ADH, SAM, RAM, AIR, EVO and DAC Magic Wire technologies are listed. Streaming is supported through UPnP, AirPlay and Spotify Connect, and up to eight units can be daisy-chained. Input sensitivity and other settings are adjusted through the Configurator software.
Sources connect through up to six coaxial digital inputs, optical inputs, an asynchronous USB Audio 2.0 port, up to two stereo RCA analog inputs and an MM/MC phono stage. Network connection is by Wi-Fi or Gigabit Ethernet. Speakers connect via 4 mm banana plugs, fork connectors or bare wire, and loads from 8 Ω down to 2 Ω are supported. RS232 and trigger connections are provided for home automation.
