The Denon Home 150 NV is a mono wireless speaker with the same acoustic design as the standard Denon Home 150, minus the built-in microphones and voice assistants. It uses two Class-D amplifiers to drive a 25 mm tweeter and an 89 mm woofer. Bass and treble can be adjusted, and the speaker can be used as a stereo pair, as a surround speaker for the Denon Home Sound Bar 550, or alongside a HEOS-enabled subwoofer.
Streaming runs through the HEOS platform and the free HEOS app, which handles setup on the home Wi-Fi network and multi-room control. The speaker supports AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and Roon Ready, and three quick select buttons store favorite internet radio stations. Multiple HEOS devices can play the same song or different songs in each room.
For connections, the speaker has a USB port for stored music, a 3.5 mm analog input and an RJ-45 Ethernet port, plus dual-band Wi-Fi. The USB port plays MP3, WAV, AAC and WMA files, Hi-Res FLAC and ALAC up to 192 kHz/24-bit, and DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz. It comes in black or white.
