The AVR-A10H is a 13.4-channel AV receiver with 13 power amplifiers rated at 150 W per channel into 8 ohms. It supports speaker layouts up to 7.4.6 and 9.4.4 and decodes Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced and Auro-3D. Dolby Height Virtualization can simulate overhead sound without height speakers. Nine 2-channel DACs serve the 17 processing channels, and the chassis uses a triple-layer construction to reduce vibration.
Video handling includes 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz pass-through, upscaling of lower-resolution sources, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, VRR, QFT and ALLM. There are seven HDMI inputs and three outputs, one with eARC, so a projector and a TV can run together while a separate signal goes to another zone. Room correction is Audyssey MultEQ XT32, with optional Dirac Live and Dirac Live Bass Control licences available as upgrades.
Networking and multi-room audio come from HEOS, controlled through the free HEOS app, with up to three zones. A custom install mode supports third-party integration and Control4 SDDP, and remote monitoring is available for integrators. Four independent subwoofer outputs, a phono (MM) input and a 15.4-channel pre-out are included.
