The OBERON ON-WALL C is a compact active speaker that mounts flat on a wall, with keyhole slots at the rear for portrait or landscape orientation. It belongs to the DALI EQUI range of wireless active speakers and amplifiers and is intended for use beside a wall-mounted TV.
Two Class D amplifiers of 50 W peak each, one for the tweeter and one for the bass/midrange driver, are built in. Crossover duties are handled by a full active 24-bit DSP at 2,700 Hz. The 5.25-inch driver uses a paper pulp and wood fibre cone with a Soft Magnet Composite (SMC) pole-piece, and the 29 mm textile soft dome tweeter is paired with a light diaphragm and voice-coil. Two rear reflex ports exit parallel to the wall, which allows a shallow MDF cabinet finished in wood-effect or matt white laminate.
Audio arrives wirelessly from a DALI SOUND HUB COMPACT over a 30-bit proprietary protocol, with typical latency under 15 ms. The wireless input carries uncompressed 24-bit / 96 kHz audio. The model is listed as discontinued.
