The KATCH ONE is a powered soundbar built around a glass-fibre reinforced ABS casing. Six active drivers and four passive units are driven by four closed-loop Class D amplifiers, with a DSP-based active crossover. The two 21 mm soft dome tweeters use neodymium magnets, and the low-profile woofers have aluminium cones with a shallow chassis and inverted membrane.
Two sound modes are provided: Wide gives a fuller, room-filling presentation, while Focus is more linear and emphasises the midrange where vocals sit. The front fabric is chosen for acoustic transparency. It can be mounted on a wall with a leather strap that hides the TV cable, hung on a rear keyhole mount, or set on a shelf using the included real wood feet.
Inputs are HDMI ARC, two optical (TOSLINK), a 3.5 mm stereo mini jack and Bluetooth 4.0 with AAC and aptX. The soundbar powers on and selects an input automatically when a source is connected. A subwoofer output allows a powered sub to be added, and a USB port can power a tablet.
