IO-6

The IO 6 is a closed-back, circumaural wireless headphone built around a custom 50 mm free-edge paper fibre cone driver with an optimised neodymium magnet system. It is tuned for low distortion, minimal colouration and accurate dynamics, and reaches 10 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) at a nominal impedance of 25 ohms.

Passive isolation from the closed-back design is supplemented by Audiophile Active Noise Cancellation, which targets low-frequency noise and offers three ANC modes to suit different situations. A 1,100 mAh lithium-ion battery gives up to 30 hours of playback with ANC switched on and recharges in about 2.5 hours. Battery level LEDs and a voice prompt report the remaining charge. The ear pads are memory foam and are designed to be replaced by the user.

Wirelessly it uses Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC, aptX and aptX HD. For wired listening it has a 3.5 mm mini-jack input, and USB-C is also available as a connection. A USB-C cable, a mini-jack cable and a flight adaptor are offered as accessories, and a travel case is sold separately. It is listed in the Iron Black finish and appears on the maker's discontinued products list.
