The AC200 is a traditional-style classical guitar from Cort's Classic range, re-engineered to improve resonance. It pairs a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides, giving a warm, mellow sound. The maker describes the series as forgiving of student mistakes, needing slightly less precision for a good tone.

Inside, traditional fan bracing is used to suit the vibration of nylon strings. The mahogany neck has a U-shaped profile, a triangle heel and a classical head volute meant to keep the left thumb comfortable. The body has brown binding, a custom rosette and a 90mm sound hole, and the guitar uses a 650mm scale with 19 frets.

It is an acoustic instrument with no pickup or electronics listed. It comes fitted with Savarez Cristal Corum 500CJ high-tension strings, which have polished silver-wound basses and Cristal trebles. Two finishes are offered: Natural Gloss and Open Pore.
